PROLOGUE~☆

hey y'all-or actually just hey Margie. I know I posted this over on lalala, but I thought I might as well post it here as well--seeing that this IS the mystery of wfb forum. yeah. Very Happy

PROLOGUE:

It all started on a seemingly ordinary day in a seemingly ordinary town in Wisconsin. The day was June 29. The town was Whitefish Bay,

a place filled with well-to-do people. Some were especially well-to-do, mostly those living in the mansions along Lake Drive. But the focuses of

our story did not live in that area of this particular city. They resided in the part of Whitefish Bay filled with middle-class adults who complained

about high taxes and even higher gas prices. They both lived in medium-sized houses on tree-lined streets with neighbors who were very easy

to disturb with simple practical jokes.

For these two girl's similar lifestyles, they couldn't be more different in appearance. Margaret --called Margie --, the older of the two, was

on the short side with medium-brown hair that could never decide if it wanted to be wavy or cury. Caitlyn --called, well, Caitlyn-- was taller with

dark blonde hair that was usually straight and foggy blue eyes.

But this is not what's important at the moment. What's important is that these two were friends-best friends-who would always come up

with some crazy dream or idea that they wanted to pursue. Whether it be forming a band and becoming famous or starting their own

restaurant (an idea that ended in a disaster in the form of so-called "desserts"), there was always a sheme in the making in one of their minds.

And right now it was solving a mystery.

Whitefish Bay, as you may have guessed, was rather a dull place. Yes, it was a nice place full places to go, but once you've gone to them

everyday for a month of summer it gets to be rather routine. One can only bike up to to get bagels for lunch and two cent candy for dessert

and eat it by the fountain across from the library so many times. Naturally, you'd begin to suspect that there was more than met the eye to

this little city.

Margie and Caitlyn had. It's still not certain what triggered these thoughts--was it the super natural incident with the neighbors cat earlier

that day? The fact that they'd each drowned a Starbucks frappachino and then eaten sugar-filled dessert? Whatever the reason, Caitlyn and

Margie set out to solve the mystery of Whitefish Bay.

The first step, of course, was to find it.

Amy and John (her Viking-fan husband) are geniuses, I guess. probably because Amy is related to ME. Very Happy
